Pixelle Specialty Solutions Names Julie Schertell as CEO

Pixelle Specialty Solutions has appointed Julie Schertell as CEO, following the departure of Ross Bushnell, who will remain through September to support a smooth transition. Schertell brings more than 30 years of experience in the specialty materials industry, including leadership roles at Mativ Holdings, Neenah Inc., and Georgia-Pacific.

Known for leading transformational change and driving portfolio growth, Schertell guided both Neenah and Mativ through major transitions that improved profitability and customer satisfaction. At Pixelle, she will focus on investing in the company’s Spring Grove site and strengthening customer relationships through innovation, supply chain initiatives, and product quality.
