Walmart has fulfilled a summer 2023 pledge to phase out single-use plastic from mailing envelopes and replace it with recyclable paper, reports GreenBiz.com (March 21, Clancy). The change has already affected approximately 65 million bags mailed annually in the United States, slashing an estimated 2,000 tons of plastic.
